Limagito is a really useful utility which will allow you to move files automatically and it can also be used in workflows for file distribution.

If you don't like changing names and moving files when you download them, Limagito can move files from/to local folders as well as FTP directories instead of you. Limagito offers quite a few features that make the program very flexible and useful for a variety of file management tasks as well as file backups.

Set filters depending on the file name, rename files when moving them to the new destination, create directories based on the file name or date and check if the file already exists. Limagito is extremely useful and it will do all those annoying tasks you don't like.

Finally, when we tested it, it didn't consume lots of resources, in fact we didn't realize that it was running, except when we detected that all tasks we wanted it to do had been done perfectly.
